Jurgen’s Photography

After working for about six years in the growing and stressfull callcenter industry, I decided that it was time to follow my dream of starting my business as photographer. This was about two years ago and I specialize now in on location portrait and event photography. This includes work for big companies (Anglo American South Africa, BMW Financial Services..) and small business and coaches (Cath Duncan from Mine Your Resources etc.).

I also enjoy working with families and children on location. In this case location, often includes the beach and the mountain, but also family homes.

Headshot Photography

I photograph headshots for  individuals in need for a professional profiles. Now more than ever, people are looking for professional portraits, which they can use for their profile pages on social networking sites like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Xing and many more.
Headshot photography has been a standard way of advertising for actors and models. I aim to offer actors and models a professional and complimentary service and give them the best tools available to advertise for themselves.

Meetups

Over the last two years, clients asked me, if I offer workshops on photography. I started a few months ago with monthly free meetups, where photo enthusiasts can meet and exchange ideas and experience around photography. Going forward, I am developing a workshop based on the meetups. Photography is such a great medium to work with and I want to encourage everyone to find ways of expressing themselves with this medium.

You can meet me in real life at the BNI Chapter Southern Cross, where we meet weekly on Wednesdays at 06:45 for brekafast at Primi Piatti, Constantia Village, Cape Town.

We will be taking a break for the rest of December and resume our meetings in the second week of January 2010.
