Review of the 9th Cape Town Photography Meetup

We met today the 9th time for our meetup and the 2nd time for our practical photography meetup. We met today at Red Hill to photograph portraits and headshots with ruins of worker’s homes as backdrop. Andre introduced me to this location a couple of months ago. Thanks for all of you, who participated and brought in your own ideas during the shoots and made this meetup such a great experience.

We worked in two different groups and worked with the concept of open shade, open aperture and some aspects of advanced photography with strobes. If you live in Cape Town and want to meet an interesting crowd of photographers (amateurs and professionals), please send me an email. The participation in the meetup is free of charge.

Our next meetup will be on 19 December at 10:00. The location will be announced shorter to the time.
