The Best Camera

“The best camera is the camera you have with you.” Chase Jarvis coined this saying and it is as true as truth can be. I have been using rather my iPhone during my runs as camera than to bring along my full Nikon gear. Sometimes, I still do that though. Carrying one lens and my camera in a backpack. Chase Jarvis has been the most prominent iPhone picture of the day photographer for a while. He inspired myself and many other photographers to work with the limitations of the iPhone camera and make use full use of creating images with one of the simplest camera phones around. Though the camera itself is nothing really to write home about, the iPhone itself offers through the App Store many solutions for on the phone editing. Chase Jarvis created now his very own interpretation of this by creating The Best Camera Website, which includes an iPhone application with some interesting photo filters. I find myself using this application during my runs or excursions with the iPhone to edit and upload images as it also connects straight to Facebook and Twitter and indirectly also to Flickr.
