Louw Bubeka – Portrait of a Jazz Musician

Last week I had the opportunity to photograph jazz musician Louw Bubeka on location in Nyanga, Cape Town. We photographed most of the portraits in the streets of Nyanga, which was good fun, but had it’s own challenges.

A couple of the images needed some additional light and working with one of my standard setups for on location portraits, I was able to be reasonable mobile and still provide professional lighting.
