Baby Photography on the Beach
This photo session, was one of those events, where Cape Town weather made feel like cancelling the appointment and surprising me during the session. We arranged to meet at Camps Bay. When I drove to the venue via the mountain, I saw fog and lots of fog. That would be interesting!
Anke and Florian were visiting Cape Town and wanted some family portraits and mostly pictures of their baby son. We started with the session, though it was still very foggy. The fog softened the light and helped with some beautiful portraits. Felix made things easy for me. He ignored the camera in the beginning and later integrated the camera as potential toy, when I photographed some closeup portraits. Then, almost all over sudden the sun overpowered the fog and we had some beuautiful light with blue sky and all. We moved down to the actual beach, where Felix was less impressed with the sand and we went back to the grass area at the beach.
